New Construction Homes
Keller, TX
Formerly known as Athol, Keller, TX got its name from John C. Keller, a foreman on the Texas Pacific Railroad that was being built in the region. The town quickly grew and expanded as the news was that Fort Worth’s railroad would extend north.
With railroad service finally available in the 1880s, the town began to prosper as a place of trade. The beautiful amenities of the Trinity River and the wooded areas made it an excellent place to raise cattle, farm, and hunt. It wasn’t until 1955 that the town was finally incorporated.
New residential developments are always popping up in Keller, expanding the city in all directions. Keller is one of the best places to live in Texas, with excellent schools and plenty of activities. If you’re considering moving to this area or finding your dream home, consider building. There are many new construction possibilities in Keller, so choose Space Construction to build you your dream home.

The Building Process
Depending on the size of the home and the availability of materials, a new construction home project can take about seven to eight months. We handle each step of the process, from acquiring permits to scheduling necessary inspections. We follow a general process when building your new home:
Planning and Design
As mentioned above, we will acquire all the necessary permits to ensure your new home’s plan and design are doable. We work closely with you to understand your vision for your dream home. We use 3D models and blueprints to help you conceptualize your home.
Materials
Once a design has been settled upon, we help our clients decide what materials they would like to use. We are open to any questions and can offer valuable feedback about the best materials.
Preparing the Site
Before construction can begin, we first need to dig out and level the area where the new home will be built. Additionally, we have to ready it for utility lines.
Foundation
Whether a basement is being put in or not, we need to pour foundations and make routes for the utility connections in the process.
Framing
This is the step where the house finally starts to take shape. Framing involves outlining a new home’s walls, windows, doorways, and more.
Installing the Guts
The guts of your home refer to the electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC, and insulation of the home. This is when light switches, electrical outlets, and plumbing fixtures will start to be installed.
Drywall and Exterior Finishes
After the interior guts have been installed, drywall can be installed. This is when we will seal walls and ceilings. While this is happening, we will also be working on installing the roof, siding, and windows.
Interior Finishes
At this point, things are finally starting to reach the finish line. During this step, we install various interior fixtures, such as flooring, countertops, vanities, trim, cabinetry, and much more.
Final Touches
Interior and exterior final touches are completed, such as lighting fixtures, landscaping, doors, and mirrors.
Final Walkthrough
Once construction is complete, we will schedule the final inspection and ensure it meets building codes before showing you.
